Sadly the car is/was in really harsh condition. With the interior almost being unhabitable and engine not passing smog due to a check engine light and a massive exhaust leak.
At first with not knowing the cause of the check engine light and the origin of the exhaust leak, I have to say I was quite frighten to drive the car home(a little over 35mi.). But luckily I made it home with zero problems.
Sure enough I quickly investigated the souce of the problems. But somewhere along the way of doing so, I decided to remove the cruise control set up. Which lead to removing the A/C compressor and power steering pump, since I do plan on swapping in a AW11 rack set up I have laying around in my garage.
After doing all the unnecessary, I found one of the souces of the check engine light. Which was a Code 6, and 12 when I initially checked it. I'm assuming the belt might have ate it but I had an extra harness that was laying around so I found a similar connection and replaced it.
Then found this sketchy knock sensor cable fix which I also replaced.
After a quick flick of the wrist, no more codes.
So I got bored and decided to play dress up with it and put some nice from shoes I picked up recently.
And there you have it. My new Bobsled for this summer.
Unfortunately with a new great job opportunity and also my dream job poping up(which I will most likely will be making a post of soon) I won't have as much time to work on the car or my current "track"/"grip" car build(which I'll also will be posting and updating in soon.), but I can guarantee some serious work being put in to the engine thanks to this new job opportunity.
Cheers,
